Getting to Our Dive Locations
Koloa Landing (South Shore Dive)
Take Highway 50 South from Lihue. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see Junction 520, also known as the “Tunnel of Trees”. Turn left and follow 520 until you reach a stop sign. This is Koloa Road. Turn right onto Koloa Road. Take your first left after the Chevron gas station onto Poipu Road. Follow Poipu Road until you reach a traffic roundabout and take your second right off of the roundabout onto Lawai Road. Take your first left onto Hoonani Road. You will immediately cross a small bridge. You will see a dirt parking lot on your right just past the bridge. There is a sign posted on a light pole that says “Koloa Outrigger Canoe & Paddling”. Park in the dirt lot near the sign and walk down the gravel road to the waters’ edge. Our dive team will be wearing blue polo shirts with the Kauai Down Under logo on the back.

Kukui’ula Small Boat Landing
Take Highway 50 South from Lihue. After approximately 15 minutes, you will see Junction 520, also known as the “Tunnel of Trees”. Turn left and follow 520 until you reach a stop sign. This is Koloa Road. Turn right onto Koloa Road. Take your first left after the Chevron gas station onto Poipu Road. Follow Poipu Road until you reach a traffic roundabout and take your second right off of the roundabout onto Lawai Road. Continue down Lawai road approximately 2 miles on your left you will see Amio road take that left, drive straight ahead and you will be at the Kukui’ula small boat harbor there on the dock you will find our vessel it’s a 25ft RIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) the name of the vessel is Hokupa’a. Park in the gravel lot on the right hand side of the harbor. Our dive team will be wearing blue polo shirts with the Kauai Down Under logo on the back.

Tunnels Beach (North Shore Dive)
Follow Highway 56 North from Lihue to Hanalei. Continue past the town of Hanalei approximately 15 minutes. Look for the Hanalei Colony Resort on your right as a landmark. Pass the Hanalei Colony Resort by exactly 9/10 of a mile and look for street address 5-7640 on your right. This is the public access road to Tunnels Beach. To park, continue north from there to Haena Beach Park (across from the dry caves). Park here and use the restroom if needed. Once you are ready, walk back down the beach to Tunnels Beach (approx. 8-10 minute walk). We’ll be set up on the beach, typically right under the pine trees. Our dive team will be wearing blue polo shirts with the Kauai Down Under logo on the back.

West Side to Koloa Landing
Take Highway 50 east, turning right onto Junction 530, also known as Koloa Road. Follow Koloa Road approximately 10 minutes into the small town of Koloa. Turn right just before the Chevron gas station onto Poipu Road. Follow Poipu Road until you reach a traffic roundabout and take your second right off of the roundabout onto Lawai Road.
