PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program
For first-time divers who want to experience the magic of scuba diving, our PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program is the perfect choice. This program is designed to introduce you to the fundamental rules and guidelines of safe scuba diving. Our dedicated team of professional PADI Instructors will guide you through every step of the process, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. This will not be a “Certification” process, but rather an in water experience.
Hands-On Orientation
As a non-certified diver, you’ll start with a detailed, hands-on orientation that covers all the essential aspects of diving. You’ll gain a deep understanding of scuba equipment and how it functions, providing you with the confidence needed for a successful dive.
Master the Basics
In addition to equipment overview, you’ll learn three basic scuba skills that you’ll put into practice during your dive. These skills are crucial for a safe and enjoyable underwater experience. Once you’ve satisfactorily completed the skills portion of your lesson, you’ll be able to dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet under the direct supervision of our professional PADI Instructors.

Discover Scuba Dive – Ocean Experience
For those with an adventurous spirit, our Discover Scuba Dive – Ocean Experience awaits. We’ll meet you directly at our shore dive site location to conduct the lesson, review the skills, and then take you face to face with our famous Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. It’s an encounter you’ll cherish forever.
Discover Scuba Dive – Pool Experience
If you’re a true beginner and feel a bit apprehensive or uncomfortable in ocean waters, our Discover Scuba Dive – Pool Experience is the ideal starting point. This program is conducted in one of our several area hotel pools, providing a safe and controlled environment for learning. Gain confidence and master the basics in the confined waters of a pool. Once you’ve honed your skills, we encourage you to join us for the Discover Scuba Dive – Ocean Experience, where you can come face to face with Kauai’s unique marine life.

The average time for a standard 2 tank dive experience is approximately 3.5- 4 hours from arrival to departure. Shoudl you choose to only do a 1 tank dive, the approximate time from arrival to departure is 2.5-3 hours.
