Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? Our refresher program is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge from your Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water safely and securely!
Our 2 tank refresher is conducted at the shore dive site in the open ocean. This means you will be face to face with marine life while getting your own gills back! Our professional PADI Instructors will cover the 5 skills deemed necessary for all certified divers to be proficient at. We will go over all of the gear and how it works as well as a detailed safety briefing to help remind you of the most important protocols when diving. Once we get in the water the first 10-15 minutes of the first dive will be practicing these necessary skills. Once you’ve successfully completed the skills it’s onto the dives!
Any certified diver who wants a refresher with a new certification card and pre-travel update should enroll in our ReActivate Course. Dive shops appreciate seeing a more recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in!
The Refresher and ReActivate dives are exactly the same. The only difference with the ReActivate is you’ll have some knowledge reviews prior to arrival as well as you will receive a new certification card stating you were “ReActivated” on the date of your dive.

The Dive Kauai Refresher/ReActivate Dives are conducted from our shore location at the actual ocean where you will be face to face with marine life and enjoying a 2 tank dive. The refresher skills are conducted at the beginning of dive #1 and then the rest of dive #1 and dive #2 are “fun” dives exploring the site and enjoying the marine life!
NO! Any certified diver from any certification agency may participate in our unique refresher course to help you get your gills back and be comfortable for your next dive. The only thing we require is you can prove certification by having your physical card or your digital eCard to show the divemaster!
NO! Any certification level may participate in our unique refresher course to help you get your gills back and be comfortable for your next dive. Whether you’re Open Water all the way up to Divemaster and it’s been a length of time since your last dive, you will benefit from participating in this experience.
